A Sweater Story

A snippet from an interview conducted by Leathah Glahves from Dark Knits Magazine

Peter Riddle: Peter Riddle is actually my stage name. We won’t be talking about my…other name.

Leathah Glahves: Oh, I see. And, may I ask, when did you know you wanted to be a costume actor?

PR: Well, I was just born a star. You know, some people just shine brighter than the others. My last role as Tom Riddle’s sweater was a lot of fun. I thoroughly enjoy playing evil, manipulative characters. And I can really relate to Tom. He made himself a new name as well, after all.

LG: He did indeed. “Voldemort,” am I right?

PR: Yes, Voldemort. Though I do think “Peter Riddle” has a better ring to it.

LG: It is quite nice, I assure you. And apart from being a costume actor, you are also right on trend. After all, you have a lovely green Peter Pan collar.

PR: Yes, Peter Pan collars are very “in” right now, but I don’t think they really ever go out of style. You know what they say, “Fashion fades, style is eternal.”

LG: Ah, yes. The great Yves Saint Laurent.

PR: I’m sure he would have loved me, but, then again, who doesn't?

LG: Hmmm...no one comes to mind.

PR: Exactly.
